My best day was when I was working with disabled people. One of the elders asked me to play Shosholoza. When I played it, the elder started crying while laughing, trying to stand, clapping hands and singing along. I could tell it brought back memories. I even cried too because I felt how much it meant to the elder. Then the elder gave me a big hug. That day reminded me that caregiving is about bringing joy, comfort, and connection. Moments like that make all the hard work worth it.”

Seeing the baby recover and become comfortable again was incredibly rewarding, and I felt proud to have made such a positive difference.”
