“ Im a very good careworker im patient, obsevernt, reliable. I treat dignity as non- negotiable i let clients keep control where they can. I’m also proactive I notice small changes in the mood , appetite or mobility and report them early. I love being an caregiver it's my passion.”
What makes you most excited about working with seniors?
“What excites me about working with seniors is the stories. Every client has 70+ years of wisdom , jokes and life lessons. I don’t just help with daily tasks , I get learn from them it also excites me to protect their independence. Small wind like helping someone eat by themselves again to taking a walk to the gate feels huge. I’m making their day better not just doing a job for them.”
In what skills area do you feel most qualified to be a caregiver?
“Im most qualified in observation and reporting. I notice small changes fast. Appetite , mood, mobility and any rash on skin. I also write detailed care notes so families and nurses always know what’s happening, while my problem-solving skills help me identify challenges quickly and find appropriate solutions.”
Your best day at work you’ve ever had and what made it so good?
” One of my best days at work was when I was able to provide exceptional care and support to my patient throughout the day. Seeing my patient smiling and feeling comforted by the care I gave made the day especially meaningful. My best day at work is when I witness very good changes in the client that’s under my care.”
