PERMANENT PLACEMENTS:
R8 000 all inclusive once-off placement fee per CareChamp. If you require more than one CareChamp - we would charge R12 000 all inclusive for two CareChamps once-off.
50% to be paid upon engagement of our services & upon our acceptance of the brief to ensure we can deliver on it. 50% to be paid upon successful placement of your perfect match.
We provide a 90-day replacement guarantee should you not be 100% confident with your selection of CareChamp.
IMPORTANT INFO ON RATES For ongoing management
All our rates are inclusive of VAT, transport and admin fees, as well as standby Champs to ensure service delivery.
A 1.5x rate applies for Sundays (already applied in seven day monthly packages).
Monthly Packages: Require monthly upfront payment.
Day Shift / Night Shift: Caregivers swap in between day & night
Live-In: Same CareChamp stays for up to 7 days and then rotates.
For Transport and Safety reasons hourly shifts end at 7 pm.
All booked caregiver champ services (medical care) include an R599 / Assessment & Care Plan.
Interview requests are charged at the minimum reservation fee and credited to the client in case of a subsequent reservation.
Our caregivers are available to assist with clients who test positive for highly transmittable diseases, e.g. Covid-19, TB, etc. A 20% risk surcharge will be applied to account for the 10 days post-care when the caregiver (as a precaution) will be required to self-isolate. The caregiver will also need to be equipped with full PPE clothing (at an additional cost).
AGENCY VS PRIVATE
Whilst working with an agency is always a tad more expensive than hiring a person in private capacity, it ensures the following :
NO ADMIN: An office care agent manages all the administration of scheduling, payments, communication, backup organisation and all the other occurrences that can happen. Also due to a team being in place, there is never an issue when a staff member is sick or on leave.
NO STATUTORY Requirements to manage: Payment of DoL Workmans compensation fees , SARS PAYE and UIF contributions taken care of by us.
NO TIE-IN to 1 person and potential complacency: we have a “no questions asked” exchange policy at any time if desired. Also our approach to team work (staffing min. 2 people per client) usually solves the potential challenge.
INSURANCE: CareChamp has a Medical Malpractice Insurance in place.
Companion Champs
Our Companion Champs are either retired from a professional career—usually in the healthcare sector—or working part-time and looking for ways to add value to other people’s lives. Companion Champs are able to assist with being a friend to and motivating the client, as well as overseeing the household. Plus, because all of our companions have their own transport, they’re able to assist with driving the client—to outings, daily activities, and doctor’s visits. We have service rates from quick assistance of 1 hour at R399 per booking.
R699 for up to five hours
Starting from R399/ 1 Hour for QUICK assistance visit.
An additional cost will be charged for kilometers traveled.
from R1199 per live-in day
Our live-in companions work for a maximum of 10 hours, and are on standby for the remainder of the day, i.e. allowed to rest but available for emergencies.
Registered Nurses
Our registered nurses are involved in home care assessments, creating care plans and onboarding caregivers. An initial home nurse assessment—conducted by one of our registered nurses—helps us to put together a care plan by better understanding your requirements. It also does wonders for orientating the caregiver and client. Our RNs also are available for followup visits as well as ad-hoc nursing procedures required.
We also offer “Family Caregiver Training” conducted by one of our RNs with the aim to assist family members be family caregivers. Learn more about the roles our RNs play in different settings.

Please note, we charge a R99 orientation & transport fee per caregiver present who is NOT reserved for the day/night.
Medical Aids usually require a nurses assessment report (additional to Doctors motivational letter & ICD 10 codes) before potentially approving care.
R550 / Visit
Our RNs are available for follow up visits where they’re able to assist with the following procedures: general health checks, wound care, catheter care, assessing basic vital signs, administering medication, nasogastric tube insertion and feeding, and oxygen therapy.
R359 / Assessment & Care Plan.

In line with the HPCSA, we’re now offering virtual home care nurse assessments.
30-minute video call followed by a detailed report and Zoom recording (where applicable) for your records.
R2 500 for 1 Family Member (R500 per additional family member)
Seven hours hands on training in your home over a duration of two weeks.
