Why did you choose a career in Home-Based Personal Care?
”I chose caregiving because I find purpose in helping people feel safe, comfortable and cared for in their own homes. I am patient, compassionate and fulfilled by knowing I can make someone’s day better.”
In what skills area do you feel most qualified to be a caregiver?
”I am strongest in patience, observation and emotional support. I notice small changes, stay calm under pressure and always allow clients to move at their own pace while keeping them safe.”
What makes you most excited about working with seniors?
”I enjoy the companionship and the opportunity to learn from seniors’ life experiences. I love helping them feel valued, listened to and as independent as possible.”
What are your main fields of study?
”My focus is caregiving and personal development, including personal care, hygiene support, communication and home safety. I am also eager to continue growing my skills through First Aid and CPR training”
