” My best day was when I was working with disabled people. One of the elders asked me to play Shosholoza. When I played it, the elder started crying while laughing, trying to stand, clapping hands and singing along. I could tell it brought back memories. I even cried too because I felt how much it meant to the elder. Then the elder gave me a big hug. That day reminded me that caregiving is about bringing joy, comfort, and connection. Moments like that make all the hard work worth it.”
