What was the best day at work you’ve ever had and what made it so good?

“I was able to assist the family of my client with funeral arrangements as they were going through the most with grief, it was sad but I managed to organize everything and ensured I prepare a good send off. I was proud that I could do that for my client whom I loved and respected dearly.’’

What was the best day at work you’ve ever had and what made it so good?

” I was introduced to a patient that had stroke so she couldn't do anything, I changed her diet plan ,she started looking healthy and recovering she would wake me up every morning excited on doing exercises improving her life and well being. That made me realise I'm not just doing this because of employment I was born to look after seniors. ”

“I was doing my practicals at Nu-Shifa Hospital and cared for an elderly dementia patient. Taking care of her was challenging, yet exciting as she had CRE. The reason why it was so exciting is that I was exposed to something new. I found much pleasure in learning about her condition. She would refuse anyone else to care for her but me as I made her feel comfortable. She definitely melted my heart during her stay at the hospital.”

“Taking care of and assisting the frail is a fulfilling experience for me. Making my clients feel comfortable and acknowledged gives me a sense of satisfaction.’
