Why did you choose a career in Home-Based Personal Care?
”I chose Home-Based Personal Care because of my personal experiences caring for my father, who had dementia and later became bed-bound. My experience in hospital after delivering my baby early also made me want to understand more about caring for people who are unwell.”
In what skills area do you feel most qualified to be a caregiver?
”I feel most confident in creating person-centered care plans that focus on each person’s individual needs and preferences.”
What makes you most excited about working with seniors?
”I enjoy getting to know different personalities, listening to their stories and learning from their life experiences and wisdom.”

”My main field of study is Public Relations, and I am also building my knowledge and skills in Home-Based Personal Care”
