“I enjoy supporting seniors and making a positive difference in their daily lives. I also enjoy listening to their stories, spending time with them and giving them the care and companionship they need.”
In what skills area do you feel most qualified to be a caregiver? “I feel most confident in personal care, emotional support, communication, mobility assistance and basic healthcare support. I am also able to observe and report any changes in a person’s condition.”
Your best day at work you’ve ever had and what made it so good?
”One of my best days was helping a patient who needed both emotional and practical support. Seeing them become more comfortable and positive made me feel proud and reminded me why I enjoy caregiving..”
