I am a Registered Nurse and Midwife with extensive experience in primary health care, mental health, rehabilitation, and palliative care.

I am passionate about helping patients manage chronic conditions through accurate assessment, treatment support, education, and ongoing care.

I especially enjoy working with mental health and addiction recovery patients, and I bring strong leadership experience from nurse unit management roles.

Sr Renee

I come from a family of nurses and was inspired to pursue nursing by my aunt, who was both a Matron and a Tutor. This foundation shaped my passion for professional, ethical, and high-quality patient care.

I bring over 25 years of extensive nursing experience across ICU, cardiology, paediatrics, outpatient services, and senior nursing leadership roles locally and internationally. My background spans clinical practice, quality and patient safety, nursing management, and private practice, allowing me to deliver compassionate, patient-centred care while upholding the highest standards of clinical excellence.

I have gained extensive experience in neonatal high care, paediatrics, and bed management, strengthening my clinical competence, organisational ability, and capacity to perform effectively in high-pressure environments.

Caring for critically ill neonates and paediatric patients has reinforced my commitment to compassionate, patient-centred care.

I chose nursing to provide professional, ethical, and holistic support to patients and their families during vulnerable and critical stages of care.

I am a qualified Professional Nurse with over 20 years of experience in nursing and healthcare management across government, private, and NPO sectors.

I hold a Bachelor of Nursing (BCur) and additional qualifications in Primary Health Care, Occupational Health, and Diagnostic, Treatment and Care.

I’m passionate about delivering safe, high-quality, client-centred care, with extensive experience supporting adults and children with high medical needs.

Sr Vanessa

I am a Chief Professional Nurse with 33 years of clinical experience across geriatrics, trauma and emergency care, oncology, medical wards, and reproductive, maternal and child health.

I am known for being a calm, patient listener with strong communication skills, and I provide respectful, compassionate care to every patient.

I have also worked as a Nursing Manager, overseeing frail care, mid-care and independent living, and supervising a team of 25 staff.

I work efficiently and vigilantly, while always making time to ensure residents feel valued, supported, and cared for—providing equal care with no prejudice.

My name is Ouma Mahlake. Originally from Limpopo. Currently based in Pretoria.

I started training as an assistant nurse in 2010 and worked as a home nurse from 2011 to 2013. In 2014 decided to do my 4-year Diploma in Nursing (General, Midwifery, Psychiatric, and Community).

I graduated in 2005 as a Registered Nurse .I have started my working career at Tygerberg Hospital in 2006. I first started in the obstetric and gynae theater for about 3 months thereafter moved to the labour ward.

Tygerberg Hospital is a tertiary hospital and I have been exposed to different entities such as maternal ICU, High risk labour , antenatal and post natal ward.

I am very passionate about teaching and have been a presenter at Stellenbosch University as well as a clinical facilitator from Aug 2011 to 2013 to assist the advance and Basic midwifery students.
