My friends call me Lady Dee.

I was born in Nigeria in 1989.

I currently reside in Cape Town.

I fluently speak, read and write English and Igbo.

I see myself as a quite an organized person who likes to do things logically and systematically.

I am a qualified "Health Care Assistant" from the class of 2019. The one-year course entailed theory as well as practical experience in a private hospital and old age home.

In my spare time I like to take a walk on the beach or read an interesting novel.

I have my own vehicle and a valid drivers licence.I also have a Bachelor's in science in sociology

I am originally from Kwazulu-Natal and was born in 1954.

I currently reside in Cape Town

I have decided to become a companion because I enjoy working and caring for the frail and wanted to apply my skills in a meaningful way.

In my free time I do a lot of walking as I love the outdoors and also to spend time with family and friends.

I am a Registered Nurse and i’m also qualified as Psychiatric Nurse and a Midwife.

My nursing career started straight after school and I also worked for 12 years in England, where I gained a lot of experience and knowledge. Missed the sunshine so came back home to South Africa.

In my spare time I do Reflexology. I love walking my dog and enjoy seeing him swim in the river. I Look after my cat, who just loves eating.

I enjoy people and find that I have an empathetic nature towards caring for people and mother earth.

I am a Registered Nurse. I did my General Nursing studies at Cape Peninsula University of Technology from January 2013 to December 2017.

I did practical work in Tygerberg Hospital, Stikland Hospital, Lentegeur Hospital, Valkenberg Hospital and Mitchell's Plain Mou.

After I finished with the studies I worked for a nursing agency for 4 months in Tygerberg Hospital, Maternity Ward. I got a temporary post in Vredenburg Hospital and after the contract ended I relocated to Durban.

I currently assist as a Home Nurse Assessor for CareChamp.

In my free time, I enjoy going out for short walks and reading.

"I believe what makes me a good caregiver is my strong ability to listen and connect with others. I’m bubbly, outgoing, and compassionate, creating an environment where seniors feel comfortable and understood. I bring both empathy and dedication to my role, ensuring I provide not just physical care, but emotional support as well.”

In what skills area do you feel most qualified to be a caregiver?

“I’m experienced in caring for clients with various conditions, including Dementia Care, Frail Care, Disability care, Palliative Care and Wound Care monitoring.”

What makes you most excited about working with seniors?

“I’m most excited about the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors. I love building relationships with them, hearing their stories, and providing care that enhances their quality of life. I am inspired by the trust they place in me to support them through their later years.”

What personal values are most important to you?

“The values most important to me are kindness, integrity, and empathy. I believe in treating everyone with respect and dignity, regardless of their age or background”
