I am a Registered Nurse. I did my General Nursing training at Germiston Hospital, Pretoria Technikon and Cape Technikon. I qualified in General nursing and midwifery (1975), NHD in Community Health (1997) and BTech Nursing (Palliative Nursing Care) (2004).

I retired in June 2018 and since then I have been doing palliative care in private patients homes.

In my free time, I like cycling, walking, gardening and reading. I love the outdoors and have completed 21 Argus cycling tours. I am not competitive but mainly enjoy the scenery when cycling.

I currently assist as a Home Nurse Assessor for CareChamp.

I live in Cape Town and was born in 1985.

I speak English.

I see myself as a logical, systematic and organized person.

For six years I worked as a Cabin Attendant and it allowed me to travel the world which I loved doing.

In 2014 I decided to settle down and focus on my family and in 2015 I became a mom.

I got involved with CareChamp as a Companion to show my skills I have learnt throughout my travelling years and share it with people in a meaningful way.

I completed the Health Care Assistant Course through NIDO and am currently studying Psychology.

In my spare time I enjoy travelling and spending time with my loved ones.

I have a valid drivers licence and my own vehicle.

I was born in 1963 and I am currently residing in Cape Town, Diep River.

I am fluent in both English and Afrikaans and I speak a bit of French.

I see myself as an outgoing person, very bubbly and soft-hearted.

I was a pre-school / Grade R teacher for 18 years, then went on to be a special needs facilitator and tutor. My mom worked in the UK as a caregiver and that made me fall in-love with helping other people and I became a companion.

In my spare time I enjoy walking, reading, listening to music, talking to friends, watching a movie, swimming or gym, cooking, shopping and art.

I have my own car and a valid drivers license.

I see myself as a bubbly, loving, patient and loyal person.

I am a qualified "Health Care Assistant" from the class of 2019. The one-year course entailed theory as well as practical experience in a private hospital and old age home.

In my spare time I enjoy playing tennis and going hiking with my husband. I also love reading, doing crossword puzzles, and studying languages. And I love playing Scrabble to relax at the end of a long day.

I started working as a Qualified registered nurse at Tshwane Hospital in 2018 till present. I am an extremely organized, calm, and patient professional with excellent healthcare skills.
