“I am a patient, respectful and compassionate caregiver. I pay close attention to detail, follow instructions carefully and always put my client’s dignity, comfort and wellbeing first.”

What makes you most excited about working with seniors?
“What excites me most about working with seniors is the opportunity to learn from their life experiences while providing care, patience and respect. I find it very fulfilling to help seniors feel comfortable, supported and valued.”

In what skills area do you feel most qualified to be a caregiver? “I feel most confident in personal care and companionship. I am a good listener and pay close attention to important daily needs such as medication times, meal preparation, personal hygiene and the overall comfort of my client.”

Your best day at work you’ve ever had and what made it so good?
“One of my best days at work was caring for an elderly client who was feeling lonely. I spent time talking with him and doing exercises together, and at the end of the day he told me that he felt happy and less lonely. Knowing that my care and companionship made a difference was very rewarding.”
