What makes you a good companion?

“I genuinely enjoy spending time with people and I bring patience, compassion, and a calm presence. I’m intuitive, proactive, and approachable, and I always aim to make others feel comfortable and supported. Having spent time around older adults, I’m familiar with their needs and enjoy helping to make daily life easier and more enjoyable.”

In what skills area do you feel most qualified to be a companion?

“I’m most confident in communication, organisation, and problem-solving. I’m able to multitask, stay calm, and offer reliable, respectful support while building genuine connection.”

What makes you most excited about working with seniors?

“I find it fulfilling to see the positive difference I can make -whether it’s through conversation, encouragement, or simply being there as a steady and supportive presence.”

What’s the most interesting thing about you that we don’t know from your resume?

“ I’m a real outdoor person - I love hiking, travelling, and being around wildlife, especially in the bush. I often visit game parks like Kruger and Pilanesberg. When I’m in a more relaxed mood, I enjoy doing puzzles, playing board games, and reading. I’m also very social and family-oriented, with a wide circle of friends, and I really enjoy spending time with people.”

Your best day at work you’ve ever had and what made it so good?
My best days are when I feel a real sense of accomplishment - knowing I’ve helped someone, made their day easier, or brought comfort and company when it was needed.”
