What makes you a good caregiver?
“I am a caring, patient and reliable person. I treat every client with respect and dignity, listen carefully to their needs, and make sure they feel safe, comfortable and supported. I am also responsible, hardworking and always willing to learn..”

What makes you most excited about working with seniors?
“I enjoy helping seniors feel comfortable, respected and valued. I also enjoy listening to their stories and being someone they can trust and rely on for companionship and support.”

In what skills area do you feel most qualified to be a caregiver? “I feel most qualified in elderly and frail care, personal care, dementia and Alzheimer’s care, mobility support, vital signs monitoring, medication support, and post-operative and oncology home-based care.”

Your best day at work you’ve ever had and what made it so good?
“One of my best days was while caring for an elderly client who was usually very quiet. One day, she opened up to me and shared that it was her daughter’s birthday. She became very happy while talking about it, and seeing her smile made me happy too. It reminded me that caregiving is not only about physical care, but also about companionship, trust and emotional support.”
