"I have decided to pursue a career in ECD because I love working with children. In my area, there are few registered ECD centers, and those that exist are far away, making it challenging for many parents to access quality care."
What is - from your point of view - the typical role and responsibilities of a childcare provider in an early childhood development field?
"The typical role of a childcare provider is to support children’s learning through educational play, provide a loving and comforting environment, and help them feel safe and secure."
In what skills area do you feel most qualified to be a childminder?
"Communication – I have strong skills in communicating effectively with both children and parents.
Time Management – I excel at managing my time efficiently and work well under pressure."
What makes you excited to work with children?
"What excites me most is their innocence and curiosity. Watching them grow and learn about the world, filled with energy and enthusiasm, makes the experience feel like play."
