Tell us more about yourself and why you have decided to pursue a career in Early Childhood Development:
"My passion for ECD was inspired by my niece, who has developmental delays due to Niemann-Pick Type C disease, and my daughter, who is advanced for her age. These contrasting experiences have shown me the importance of supporting every child’s unique journey. I’m committed to helping children of all abilities thrive in nurturing, supportive environments."
What is - from your point of view - the typical role and responsibilities of a childcare provider in an early childhood development field?
"A childcare provider in ECD creates a safe, nurturing space that supports children’s growth through play-based learning. They promote development in all areas, observe progress, encourage healthy routines, and work with families to build a strong foundation for each child’s future."
In what skills area do you feel most qualified to be a childminder?
"I’m most qualified in creating a nurturing environment, building positive relationships, and supporting children’s development through play-based learning."
What makes you excited to work with children?
"What excites me most about working with children is seeing the world through their curious, imaginative eyes. Supporting their growth and helping shape their confidence and love for learning is incredibly rewarding."
