What makes you a good caregiver?
“I am a caring, knowledgeable and adaptable caregiver who is willing to share my skills and experience. I believe a good caregiver should be neat, hygienic, observant and able to adapt to different working environments. I always aim to provide care that helps seniors maintain their dignity and independence..”

What makes you most excited about working with seniors?
”Working with seniors gives me the opportunity to keep learning. Every client has different health needs, and I enjoy learning how to support them appropriately, whether that involves monitoring their wellbeing, encouraging healthy eating, or helping them manage their daily care..”

In what skills area do you feel most qualified to be a caregiver? My strongest skills are patience, listening, understanding clients’ needs and rights, punctuality, organisation, problem-solving and clear communication. I understand that every client is different, so I adapt my care to suit their individual needs.

Your best day at work you’ve ever had and what made it so good?
“One of the most meaningful experiences for me was attending a workshop on elderly abuse and caregiver wellbeing. A story shared during the workshop reminded me that caregiving can be both rewarding and emotionally challenging. It taught me the importance of caring for others while also seeking support from the right people when difficult situations arise.”
