SA Expats: Get Quality Care for your Folks Back Home

Hire an in-home caregiver to offer your elderly parents practical assistance and companionship in South Africa while you are abroad.

It’s hard to live far away from the people you love, especially as they age and their list of practical needs grows longer.

We haven’t invented teleportation just yet, but we can offer a kind, qualified physical presence to provide your loved ones with the quality care they deserve. Allow us to be your hands and feet.

How do I get (and stay) Connected?

According to BusinessTech, one million South Africans have immigrated within the past five years. While there hasn’t been a census on just how many expats have had to leave aging parents behind, we know that many people wish to grow old in their country of origin, and it simply isn’t always possible to take the whole family along.

With this in mind, we’ve designed a hands-on service where you can hire compassionate, quality care for your parents where we ensure that you are connected every step of the way.

How does it work?

A member of our office team will arrange a virtual or in-home assessment to establish your mom or dad’s care needs.

Thereafter, a personal account manager will be allocated to you in order to match your parent with their perfect Champ. You’ll have a direct line to your account manager in order to continually tailor your plan to your parent’s evolving needs.

What do we offer?

Companion Care
A healthcare retiree or part-time professional who will spend a few hours a week with your elderly loved one—helping to motivate them and keep them mentally stimulated.

Frail Care
Champs are able to assist clients at every stage of the aging process. They are trained by registered nurses to offer your frail parent the practical and emotional support they need in the comfort of their own home.

Dementia Care
Our healthcare assistants are all trained to care effectively for dementia patients. They are able to identify needs that require more specialized attention and mobilise your account manager to arrange for a nurse’s visit.

Our frail, dementia, disability, postoperative, and relief care services are supported by our team of registered nurses (RNs). Our RNs are involved in virtual and in-home care nurse assessments, creating care plans, and onboarding caregivers. They’re also available for follow-up visits where they’re able to assist with performing procedures, should your parent require more specialized attention.
