My background in teaching, retail, and sales has strengthened my adaptability and communication skills. I chose ECD because I’m committed to helping young children grow and thrive, and I find it incredibly rewarding to support their early learning journey."
What is - from your point of view - the typical role and responsibilities of a childcare provider in an early childhood development field?
"My role is to care for, teach, guide, and support children—building a friendly connection, understanding their needs, encouraging play, and motivating them while closely monitoring their development.”
In what skills area do you feel most qualified to be a childminder?
"It’s important to understand children’s physical, social, emotional, and intellectual development, and to show parents you are reliable and trustworthy. Knowledge of first aid, hygiene, nutrition, and attentiveness to safety are also essential.”
