“ I treat every patient with kindness, respect, and patience. I remain calm in all situations, which helps me understand their needs better and provide consistent, compassionate care and adapt to thier care plan.”

In what skills area do you feel most qualified to be a caregiver?
”I am most experienced in frail care, early-onset dementia care, post-operative care, and disability support. I also have skills in wound care monitoring, catheter care assistance, PEG-tube feeding, vital signs monitoring, stroke care support, and assisting with physiotherapy, as well as providing relief care.“

What makes you most excited about working with seniors?

“Seniors are always happy, it is easy to work with them and they are so wonderful to be around especially with their knowledge if life.”

What was the best day at work you’ve ever had and what made it so good?

”My best day at work was when l assisted my patient to start using a toilet instead of using a nappy, it is a small success but it was a great. What made me happy was when l saw a smile on her face she looked so relieved that she was able to do that without fear but determination with support.”
