”I chose to pursue a career in Home-Based Personal Care because I enjoy helping people and making a positive difference in their daily lives. I am committed to gaining the skills and knowledge needed to provide compassionate, professional care and support to those in need.”

In what skills area do you feel most qualified to be a caregiver?

”I feel most qualified in personal care and reliability. Caring for my grandmother with bathing, meal preparation, and medication reminders taught me responsibility, respect for dignity and privacy, and the importance of accurate record-keeping.”

What makes you most excited about working with seniors?

”What excites me most is the opportunity to make a positive difference in someone's life while helping them maintain their independence and dignity. I am also eager to continue learning and developing my caregiving skills so that I can provide the best possible care and support.”

What are your main fields of study?

”My highest level of education is Grade 12, and I also studied Tourism Management up to N6 level. Through my studies, I developed strong communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills, which I am now applying toward building a career in Home-Based Personal Care.”
