What makes you a good caregiver and child minder?
βI have empathy and I am able to understand he needs of the patient. I am very patient and this helps me in ensuring that I provide the best care possible. As a good childminder I understand the different stages of child development. This knowledge helps me create age-appropriate activities and encourage emotional, cognitive, and social development.β
In what skills area do you feel most qualified to be a caregiver and child minder?
β I am more experienced in catheter care, peg tube feeding, frail care, dementia care, child care, checking vitals signs, post-operative care, monitoring, bed and bath care, exercise and mobility assistance, engaging toddlers in activities and routine creation.β β
What makes you most excited about working with seniors and children?
β I love working with them because they are the nicest people and they provide valuable lessons, I always learn a lot and improve.β
What was the best day at work youβve ever had and what made it so good?
β Being able to help patients with passive and active exercise ,playing different games and taking walk around also helps them to refresh their mind . The matron in charge used to thank me for doing a great job .β
