“The ability to adjust to changing situations or needs is vital in caregiving, as circumstances can evolve rapidly. I always show kindness and patience when dealing with the elderly as they do require a caregiver who can understand their needs at all times. A nurturing approach helps children feel safe and cared for, which is vital for their emotional well-being. ”
In what skills area do you feel most qualified to be a caregiver?
“Over the years, I have gained experience in general Frail Care, Dementia Care, Physically Disabled Care, Mentally Disabled Care, Disabled Care for Children, Toddler care, Catheter Care, Post-Operative Care, PEG Feeding, and Pressure Care. Basic Vital Signs Check & Wound Care Monitoring. Planning engaging and educational activities requires creativity. Having a good sense of what might interest children at various developmental stages makes a big difference.
What makes you most excited about working with seniors?
