What makes you a good caregiver?
I believe I’m a good caregiver because I’m patient, gentle and truly committed to helping others. I listen carefully, pay attention to the small details and try my best to make each client feel safe, respected and supported. I’m dependable, calm in difficult moments and always willing to learn so that I can care for each person in the way they need.”

In what skills area do you feel most qualified to be a caregiver ?
”I’m most confident in providing specialized care such as stroke support, general frail care, and post-operative care. This includes monitoring wounds, supporting catheter care, assisting with mobility and physio exercises, and ensuring overall safety and comfort. I’m also experienced in medication reminders, preparing nutritious meals, and keeping clients engaged in a calm and supportive environment.”

What makes you most excited about working with seniors?
“I enjoy their patience and the trust they build. They appreciate genuine care, and I love learning from them while supporting their daily needs.”

What was the best day at work you’ve ever had and what made it so good?
“My best day was when I encouraged a client to celebrate her birthday again after years of avoiding it. Seeing her happy and healing made the day very meaningful.”
