What makes you a good companion?
“Caring for others comes naturally to me, and I have a genuine heart for people who are unwell or need support. I’m especially passionate about working with seniors, people with disabilities, and individuals recovering from illness or surgery. I’m patient, compassionate, and attentive, and I take pride in offering comfort, dignity, and emotional support. I also have my own transport and am available for both live-in and live-out positions.”
In what skills area do you feel most qualified to be a companion?
“I feel most qualified in elderly care, supporting children with disabilities, post-operative recovery support, and dementia care. Through my experience, I have developed the patience, attentiveness, and compassion needed to provide respectful and person-centred support in each of these areas.”
What makes you most excited about working with seniors?
“I’m most excited by the opportunity to make a positive difference in someone’s day - sometimes in the smallest moments - through care, patience, and genuine companionship. I believe in treating every person with kindness, respect, and compassion.”
What’s the most interesting thing about you that we don’t know from your resume?
“Even at school, my teachers often told me that I bring a sense of peace and reassurance to those around me. That’s something I’ve carried with me throughout my life, and it guides the way I support and care for others.”
Your best day at work you’ve ever had and what made it so good?
“My best days are when I see someone I’m caring for start to smile again. Knowing I’ve helped bring comfort and hope is incredibly rewarding.”
