What makes you a good caregiver?

“I am a good communicator, very patient and I can show empathy to my patients. Looking after the elderly and helping people in need has always been what I have wanted to do and with being a caregiver, I can do that by creating a fun environments for my patients.’’

In what skills area do you feel most qualified to be a caregiver?
” I am more experienced in frail care, disability care, dementia care, checking vitals signs, wound monitoring, bed and bath care, exercise and mobility and medication monitoring.. ‘‘

What makes you most excited about working with seniors?

“Their wisdom, fun games we play and their great sense of humor and how they are always understanding. ’’

What was the best day at work you’ve ever had and what made it so good?

” I remember I was doing my practical’s and this patient of mine told me how good I was with patients and I will make a great nurse one day... That was the most motivational words I have received form a patient and That was the best day at work and those words keep me moving to this day..’’
