What makes you a good caregiver?

“Growing up assisting the elderly in my community made me passionate about my job, being well disciplined gave me the ability to work well with or without supervision.”

Your best day at work you’ve ever had and what made it so good.

“I was working in ICU during my practical training, the day new students came to the hospital for their training, I was asked by the unit manager to show them around and introduce them to staff, I was quite chuffed and proud of myself that I got granted the opportunity.”

In what skills area do you feel most qualified to be a caregiver?

“With the experience, I have gained over the years, I am comfortable with Dementia Care, Physically Disabled Care, Mentally Disabled Care, Disabled Care for Children, Nanny care, Vital Signs, Catheter Care, and Pressure Care.”

What makes you most excited about working with seniors?

“Seniors are amazing, there is a lot we learn from the elderly as we listen attentively often finding life lessons hidden in their stories.”

What’s the most interesting thing about you that we don’t know from your resume?

'‘As an entrepreneur, I sell clothing, shoes, and fragrances, and I stay current on trends to ensure that I meet my clients' needs.”
