Cape Town | Paid Trainee Position

CareChamp is growing, and we’re looking for a bright, hungry and curious young person to join our behind-the-scenes team as a CareChamp Trainee in Recruitment, Client Care & Marketing.

This is an exciting paid trainee opportunity for a recent matriculant, graduate, or young person at the start of their career who is eager to learn, grow and be exposed to different areas of a fast-moving, purpose-driven business.

About the Role

This is not a “sit in one corner and do one task” kind of role.

You’ll get practical exposure to different parts of the business, including:

Recruitment support
Helping with candidate communication, screening, interview scheduling, reference checks, recruitment admin, and keeping candidate information organised.

Customer service and communication
Assisting with WhatsApp, email and phone communication with applicants, clients, students or care workers, depending on the needs of the team.

Marketing and events support
Helping with community events, wellness days, recruitment drives, social media content ideas, basic marketing admin, and general brand-building activities.

Office and operations support
Assisting the team with day-to-day coordination, admin tasks, document management, follow-ups, and keeping things running smoothly.

You’ll be working closely with experienced team members and learning how a growing homecare and training business operates from the inside.

Minimum Requirements

  • Matric required

  • A diploma, degree or short course qualification would be an advantage

  • Strong English communication skills

  • Computer literate

  • Based in Cape Town

  • Available to work from the office

  • No extensive work experience required, but some part-time work, volunteering, leadership, admin, sales, customer service or event experience would be a bonus

Employment Type & Stipend

Paid trainee position - Stipend: R6 500 - R8 000 / month depending on experience
Fixed-term period (6 months), with potential to grow into a longer-term role
