Our QCTO-accredited First Aid Level NQF 2 course prepares you with the essential knowledge and hands-on skills to respond confidently to medical emergencies in the workplace, home, or community. Whether you’re a caregiver, teacher, or simply want to be prepared, this programme combines theory with practical training for competence and confidence.
Training Days Schedule:
Location: Care College, 155 Loop Street, Cape Town
Days: Every Monday and Friday
Time: 09:00am – 14:00pm
Important to note:
Day 1 will be completed online via our digital platform.
Day 2 must be attended in person at our Care College campus for the practical session and official First Aid sign-off.
Once you book, we’ll confirm your allocated training day to ensure class availability.
Day 1 - Knowledge & Core Skills-Self Paced Learning
Introduction & course briefing
Legal and ethical role of a first aider
Scene safety and assessment
Primary survey (ABCs) CPR for infants, children, and adults
Choking management
Day 2 – Practical Application & Assessment
Bleeding control and shock management
Treating burns, bites, stings, and environmental injuries
Fracture and sprain immobilisation
Safe EMS handover and record keeping
Written and practical assessments
