What makes you a good caregiver?

The key to being a good caregiver is patience and being open to any challenge. No patient is the same, however as I am equipped with different skills sets it makes me confident in taking on a new challenge.

In what skills area do you feel most qualified to be a caregiver?

“I am most qualified in patient care overall. I've gained experience in various types of health conditions such as Dementia, Palliative, Frail and Mental Disability care. With my experience in disability care, I excel at assisting physically disabled clients and I’m able to do PEG feeding.”

What makes you most excited about working with seniors?

“The most exciting part is learning their stories and lives. It’s taught me that each person is different, with a different story and we will all need help somehow, someday.”

What’s the most interesting thing about you that we don’t know from your resume?

“Not only do I enjoy caring for the elderly, but I have a huge liking towards sport. I always try to include exercise and sport as part of my daily routine with clients and their family members.

What personal values are most important to you?

“Compassion, taking initiative and respect.
