What makes you a good caregiver?

My passion for taking good care of the elderly as well as children, I would make sure to take extra care when assisting them to make sure their needs are well taken care of and that they feel valued, appreciated and listened to. Besides my passion, I also have skills and qualities which are best suited for caregivers. I am a fast learner which means I adjust according to my clients needs really fast.”

In what skills area do you feel most qualified to be a caregiver?

“I feel most qualified in working in Palliative, Frail, Mental and Physical Disability care, as well as PEG feeding and other requirements from my years of experience working at frail care facilities and hospitals. I am also comfortable with doing nanny care.”

What makes you most excited about working with seniors?

“There are so many things that I enjoy about working with seniors. They appreciate your time and the work you do, and are always happy to compliment. Working with the elderly gives you a great insight into adulthood and they provide you with useful knowledge. Just being able to make a difference in someone's life and seeing how they progress makes me excited to work with them.”

What was your best day at work and what made it good?

“I do not have a specific day but my perfect day at work is a work day that allows me to provide exceptional care for the frail. If my patient’s needs are cared for and they are happy that to me is a perfect day.

What personal values are most important to you?

“Dedication and compassion”
