Tell us more about yourself and why you have decided to pursue a career in Early Childhood Development:

"I decided to pursue a career in Early Childhood Development as I have a passion for working with children, I genuinely enjoy the company of children and find fulfillment in supporting their growth and well-being. It brings me joy knowing that as an Early Childhood Development practitioner, I can have an impact on future generations. Early Childhood is a critical period for a child's development where the foundation for lifelong learning, behavior, and health is established and knowing I can be a part of this and be able to positively influence and shape the lives of children is one of the reasons I chose to pursue career.”

What is - from your point of view - the typical role and responsibilities of a childcare provider in an early childhood development field?
”In my opinion, a childcare provider in the Early Childhood Development field has the important responsibility of caring for and nurturing young children in a safe and stimulating environment. I believe the role of an Early Childhood Development practitioner involves creating a supportive and educational setting that promotes the social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development of children. .”

What makes you excited to work with children?
”Children have a sense of wonder and curiosity that can be infectious and inspire excitement in those around them. Witnessing that spark in their eyes when they discover something new can be very rewarding. The joy and laughter children often bring to those around them combined with their innocence and ability to find happiness in simple things can be rewarding and bring joy to one's life which makes me quite excited to be working in this field.”
