Tell us more about yourself and why you have decided to pursue a career in Early Childhood Development:

"I'm a hardworking, passionate, and outgoing individual. I'm drawn to a career in Early Childhood Development because I'm committed to nurturing young minds and laying the foundation for their future success."

What is - from your point of view - the typical role and responsibilities of a childcare provider in an early childhood development field?
”I chose this field because as a child practitioner, you will learn both typical and atypical development so as to meet the needs of all types of children and family situations. Therefore, I will be able to encourage children who are developing in a comfortable manner, aid those who are struggling as well as help find the best environment for each child.”

What makes you excited to work with children?
”Working with children brings me joy because it involves love and laughter, caring and even a few tears. It's incredibly fulfilling, offering opportunities for creativity and making a meaningful impact, which I find immensely rewarding.”

What is your main field of study?

“CareChamp College Early Childhood Development Practitioner (NQF4) - Graduation: 2024.”
