What makes me a good caregiver is that caring for the elderly is my passion. I want to help those in need - especially when they need the assistance. I am a people's person, I am friendly and trustworthy. I pride myself in always working professionally and my work ethics compliments my confident and proactive nature, which I believes makes me a good caregiver.”

In what skills area do you feel most qualified to be a caregiver?

“I feel most qualified to provide Dementia care, Physical disability care, Mental disability care, Stroke care and Assessing basic vital signs, Pressure care as well as other requirements learnt during my time at hospitals and with clients. I am also experienced in PEG feeding and Palliative care.”

What makes you most excited about working with seniors?

“What makes me more excited is helping them when they struggle to do things for themselves and just seeing that happy smiles on their faces.”

What was the best day at work you’ve ever had and what made it so good?

“My best day at work was when my client who suffered from a stroke started walking again. I emphasised the importance of remaining positive and we tried day by day until she finally took her steps. It made me feel so good as the care and input I provided helped her to recover.
